TR MAXIMUS
"Maximus" is a 2002 ET son of RCR CHAMP B615 and a great old "One Step" daughter EG MS ONE STEP 8172 that Paul Watson let us flush. He was mistreated in a calf-raiser program and didn't look light much when we brought him home. We believed in the ET mating so we bred him to a few heifers as a yearling and liked what we got. We've bred him to more cows each year and his calves are thick with a lot of volume. His first daughters are in production now and they've made better cows that we ever hoped for. We fully expect his Milk EPD to jump after the records of his daughters come into play. HIs daughters are some of the first selected each year for show heifer prospects. He was dehorned.

We have the opportunity to use this great "Pure Gold" son naturally on our 3/4 Brahman cows. He is a scurred Hereford bull that is a consistent producer. His daughters are exceptional. El Dorado's sire, Pure Gold, has a very good milk EPD and El Dorado is out of a cow with an extremely high milk EPD. This is a maternal bull with a lot of growth and thickness.

We feel very fortunate to have been able to get "Hulk" back from the South Louisiana commercial operation that had made him one of the top sellers in our 2002 production sale. He was a very good yearling when he left East Texas and he proved to be highly productive and well adapted to the production environment into which many of our bulls sell. A Maverick son out of the 5023E cow featured on the index page of our website, this bull was bred to be a top purebred herdsire. His 2006 EPDs are as balanced and complete as any Braford bull you will find: BW=1.6, WW=21, YW=37, Milk=8, M+G=18 Fat=0.009, REA=0.26, Marbling Score=0.178, Carcass WT= 31. The EPDs put Hulk at the top of practically every category in the breed. We are expecting about 35 Hulk calves to begin arriving in January of 2007. Hulk is big without being big framed and has lots of rib and volume. He is bold, polled, fully pigmented and freckle-faced. His disposition simply could not be any better and we look forward with great anticipation to 2007 arriving with his first registered calves.

"General Lee" is the thickest butted, best looking Braford bull we have ever produced. His sire is the EPD leader and 2004 Braford Show Bull of the Year BO 801 MR 2043 (Leroy). As a calf exhibited in only three shows, General Lee was a close runner up for 2005 Show Bull of the Year honors himself. He was also calf champion and Reserve Grand Champion at the 2006 National Braford Show. His dam, THUNDERSTORM MISS MAGGIE, is a 1996 "AGGIE" daughter that has been a good producer her whole life. His 2006 EPDs were very good: BW=4.4, WW=8, YW=16, Milk=5, M+G=9. As a yearling he had a 12 inch ribeye and almost 4% intramuscular fat. We bred the General to about 20 top cows as a yearling. We expect several top herdsire and show prospects to be selected from his first calves in 2007.
We thank Rock Crest Ranch (primarily Trey Abney) for letting us use "Victor" in the spring of 2006 to breed to our heifers. Victor was sired by recognized low birth weight leader RCR L1 MANSO B026 and Victor was out of Trey Abney's famous RCM VICTORIAS SECRET cow. He is a proven easy calving bull to use on heifers. His 2006 EPDs are BW=-1.3, WW=16, YW=20, Milk=0, M+G=8.
