This isn't much of a picture we know
- she's just a baby. But this heifer would not be in the
sale if she hadn't been born so late. We are trying to back our calving up
to start December 1 and the chance of one calved this late getting bred
early enough is slim. We can't tell you much about how this baby
looks except for the color and you can see that in the picture. We'll get
some more photos of her as we get closer to the sale and as she gets a little age on
her.
The dam of this heifer was the San
Antonio Grand Champion Braford in 2004. As a cow, she produced
our popular Houston Sale bull this year - TR GL HONKY TONK 915S.
Note the pedigree on this heifer. She was sired by Hulk who was out of our
amazing old 5023E cow. Her dam, 339P, is also out of the old 5023E cow that
is thirteen year's old and still a solid producer with a great udder and a lot of milk
(Milk EPD of 13).
This heifer was born too late for us to keep
but she should work well for someone calving later than we prefer or she could
even shift easily into a fall calving program. She could very well make a
very good show heifer too. We are starting her price very
low ($1200) simply because she is just too late to fit
our
program.
