| We encourage Braford breeders to join in an effort to breed Brafords with the performance required for profitability in the beef industry. Consistently breeding better performing cattle is very hard to do without keeping complete and detailed records from birth through age appropriate ultrasound or carcass measurements. Only by documenting the performance will you and your customers know how your cattle perform. By cooperatively selecting and breeding performance-oriented Brafords, we can help each other as well as the Braford breed. We are all striving for our breed to be a viable option for Southern cattle producers serious about being mainstream beef producers. Performance Breeders is in no way an exclusive club but more of a philosophy, focus or the way we choose to do business. We sincerely encourage you to become part of our performance breeding endeavors. Please feel free to contact one of the breeders below if you are interested in becoming a Braford Performance Breeder. We've been breeding registered Brafords for more than twenty years and we hope to have learned from our mistakes. Our performance programs are yielding positive results but we recognize that we need more breeders pulling in the same direction to have a significant impact. |
